IATA - Dangerous Goods Courses by Air

Dangerous Goods Awareness level training is a legal requirement in accordance with ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation), IATA (International Air Transport Association) and IAA (Irish Aviation Authority) for staff of operators and agencies acting on behalf of operators performing the functions of ground handling, storage and loading of cargo, in the transportation of hazardous goods by air.

IMDG - International Maritime Dangerous Goods

International Maritime Dangerous Goods training became mandatory on 1st January 2010. Appropriate training for shore-side staff involved in dangerous goods is now mandatory instead of recommended.

DGSA - Safety Advisors for Carriage of Dangerous Goods

Under the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Regulations, 2007 (S.I. No. 288 of 2007) implement Council Directive 95/35/EC of 3 June, 1996, it is compulsory for companies, which transports dangerous goods (and other organisations involved in transport related activities) to have appointed a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor/s.

Air Cargo Security

A course for all persons engaged at Regulated Agents, actively involved in processing goods at Regulated Agents, all security managers and deputy security managers employed at Regulated Agents and all drivers employed or contracted by Known Consignors and Regulated Agents. All of whom are required to receive the appropriate level of Air Cargo Security training.
